For the American trading company for school books, Follett Library Resources, a buffer and sequencing system for cartons and totes of different sizes was implemented.

The automated warehouse (three aisles) is operated by psb sprinter AS/RS stacker crane systems, with optimizer load handling devices. The psb topdrive technology provides the miniload cranes to run at very high storage and retrieval rates, as required by the customer.

Technical and ergonomical parameters played a major role in Follett’s decision to carry out the project with psb and its American business partner.
